Well, that’s one search thread that’s probably not been typed into Google yet ‘Ben Barnes and scones’. Although, that just means I have to go and type it in now to see what happens…
I have had so many people asking me about what on earth the connection between Ben Barnes and scones, that I mention in my Dorian Gray review, could be..
So, behold a scone and Ben Barnes!
I’m not sure who plays the scone (or which agent it is with) but what wonderful screen presence!The still doesn’t do the scone, cream and jam any justice (mainly because it’s out of focus…). The image is ruthlessly pilfered off the internet, by the way.
You really do have to go and see the film to find out as I will not reveal why scones acquire a whole new significance. Let’s just say that it’s not only lashings of cream that are involved. Go and support the British film industry’s coffers by seeing the film; it’s still out at cinemas at the moment.
Now, I best google a scone recipe… just in the vain hope that Ben might drop by one day…
